King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) Tourism

King Abdullah Economic City is a thriving tourist destination and contemporary metropolis located 100 kilometers north of Jeddah along the Red Sea coast. Even though KAEC was designed in 2005 to draw in foreign business, relaxation is a significant component of its attractiveness.

One of the most well-known golf clubs in the Middle East, Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, hosts international competitions, and a motorsports park is currently being constructed as part of the recently constructed Lagoona recreational complex.

Another important attraction is the waterfront, which spans from the bike-friendly Beach Walk to the soft-sand Yam Beach, which offers a variety of watersports. It can be enjoyed year-round because the desert temperature in KAEC averages 28 degrees C.

Juman Karting, a fast 700-meter track close to the city's K-Max theater, is the best place to experience the excitement because racing is ingrained in the culture of KAEC. Visitors can go karting during the day, but many prefer to do it at night because the air is cooler and the floodlit track gives the activity a vibe of a futuristic video game.

The Bay La Sun neighborhood's Yam Beach is a center for entertainment in KAEC. It is a shallow natural pool bordered by coral reefs that are well-liked by kitesurfers, snorkelers, and families who may unwind beneath thatched umbrellas. Rentable kayaks and paddle boats are available, and if you become peckish, you can visit one of the food trucks parked around the bay. Additionally, Aqua Fun, a roving water park in the marina, is not far from the beach.

The region surrounding KAEC, like much of the Red Sea coast, is ideal for boat exploration, whether you wish to cruise or prefer snorkeling and diving in the shallow reefs bordering the coastline. The marina offers boat rentals for fishing trips lasting anything from 30 minutes to a whole day in the summertime Red Sea International Sport Fishing Tournament waters.
